Cindy Shih is a painter who daydreams about how Art can affect real, positive change within a community. Cindy Shih is a representational artist living and working in San Francisco. Her work comes from a place of empathy: a sincere urge to connect, communicate, and create for others. Her paintings have been featured in juried shows and galleries in the Bay Area. Most notably, at Arc Gallery and Studios in SoMa, Sanchez Art Center, SoMarts Main Gallery, Seed Gallery, Embassy SF, and Studio 110 Projects. 

 

In 2014, her mixed media piece received the title of "Best of Show" at the annual MFA/BFA show at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco. Jessica Wan, soprano, performs regularly throughout the Bay Area, singing opera, lieder, art song, musical theatre, and more. She has performed with LIEDER ALIVE!, Opera on Tap, Pocket Opera, San Francisco Renaissance Voices, and San Francisco Early Music Society’s Fringe Festival. She makes it her mission to introduce all types of people to the joy of music. For the last decade, Jessica has also built a career as a marketing professional, helping to shape both tech companies and arts organizations such as San Francisco Opera and Community Music Center. Jessica has a BA in Music and a BS in Product Design from Stanford, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Hear and see more at jessicawan.com.
