The Embassy Network
The inaugural Art | Song Salon focused on the notion of Inaccessibility. From social class disparity to the ideas of fame and belonging, we discussed themes via art and music, shared personal experiences, and left feeling like a part of a greater community.
Cindy Shih, artist + curator, curated pieces from Bay Area artists Inna Razumova, Cynda Valle Rogers, and Bronwyn Dexter. Jessica Wan, soprano, and Tim Eischens, piano, presented songs by Copland, Barber, Faure, Poulenc, and Satie. Tanya Ausburg, Ph.D, performed "Back to the Void, Standing Strong," a performance exploring how we acknowledge lack in public settings.
